So love overall but somethings did drive me batty. Abby and jackson are awesome overall. Jackson really seriously had to give Abby a chance and see that there are two sides to every story and not just think my BFF is the same and Abby is being unfair. That loyalty is amazing and has me swoon but also drives me batty because it had Jackson be a doof at times. He was cold to Abby when she first came back and through highschool. Why? His BFF was with her and he liked the girl. No he has always always loved abby. Yet he lets his buddy steal her and than treats her like she doesn’t exist. It wasn’t cool man.

So now Abby is back and she is needing to right her world. Her daughter is angry thinking Abby took away everything from her when in reality it wasn’t her. Abby needs a job because her soon to be ex is a idiot and a jerk. Jackson is conflicted and hot and cold with Abby due to his feelings so she is feeling seesawish and she is also judging Jackson by his love of hockey.

slowly they come together and learn about one another. Jackson is a sweet and caring guy. He is helpful, loyal, loves his family and would give the shirt off his back to those he cares about. He sees what a strong and caring person Abby is and begins to question who his friend is now. He also starts to want her for himself. He takes a chance and lets Abby in. When this happens we get a fun romance started. Abby’s daughter is one of his players and she is really talented. We see her change as Abby gets more relaxed and Jackson is there more. I hated to see Abby’s daughter at the end get hurt that way but I loved Jackson being there for them.

Abby was awesome until the end. that is where she drove me batty. She didn’t trust Jackson and see he wasn’t her ex. She puts him in a box and almost loses him for good. It is a good thing Jackson has faith in their relationship and himself. He is a good guy and Abby waffles on that. That is the other thing that drove me batty. Other than that loved the book. Love how they got to know one another and gave each other a chance. How he fought his feelings and so did she but the attraction was through the roof and took over. Loved the respect that they had for one another and how encouraging and supportive Jackson is.

the book is entertaining and fun. The romance is sensual but I loved how it began with them exploring who they are together and seeing who the other person is as well. a great fun sexy time that is easy to read and has you smile throughout as you see two wonderful characters learn to trust and love one another.

This one is a definite 5 star book for me. A wonderful small town romance with incredible characters, a fantastic story that's well written with a great pace to the story. Everything I look for in an enjoyable book. I highly recommend this one.
This was a great story--I loved Jackson and Abby and the way their relationship progressed. I also liked Dani and had a good time reading this story. Baseball is my sport, but I enjoyed reading about hockey.
The 'unrequited love from the hero' storyline has always been one of my favourites and this one was really sweet. I really liked how the hero was head over heels for the heroine and from the moment he made his move, he was committed to doing whatever he needed to do to make it work.
Maybe This Time by Jennifer Snow.....This is a beautifully written second chance romance, that you will fall in love with. Jennifer Snow gives us hot hockey players, great characters, heartache, romance, love and it hits all the emotion buttons, which in my book makes for a fantastic story. I enjoyed watching Abigail and Jackson's stories be told. This series is turning out to be one of my favorites and I can't wait for what will come next. I voluntarily reviewed an advance readers copy of this book.
This is the perfect book for sports fans and romance fans alike. This is the first book I have read that features the sport of Ice Hockey and I really enjoyed it! I grew up watching the Detroit Red Wings with my father and brother and the fast paced action really makes you sit up and pay attention. So, combining the excitement of the sport with an exciting romance is a win-win situation for those who like to spend the winter snuggled up with a great book. Abigail and her 9 year old daughter Dani are back home in Glenwood Falls after a divorce that has broken their hearts and their little family of three. When Dani makes the co-ed hockey team at her grade school, Abigail reunites with her former husband's best friend who is now Dani's hockey coach. When Abigail takes a substitute teaching job at Dani's school she also takes on the school's fundraising committee and, like it or not, she will be working with Jackson who makes no bones about being in her ex-husbands corner. As Abigail and Dani settle in to life in Glenwood Falls, her relationship with Jackson slowly begins to change and I absolutely loved the way their relationship evolves and grows. With a witty and delightful enemies-to-friends romantic storyline, I would highly recommend Maybe This Time to fans of contemporary romance who like sports and a little spice along with their happily-ever-after.
